英语里表述笑的词汇非常丰富，用laugh就可以表达各种笑，如下：

Laugh: 发笑1. He laughed with pleasure when people said he looked like his dad. 人们说他长得像父亲时，他乐得大笑起来。2. I told him I was worried but he laughed scornfully.我告诉他我很担忧，可他却轻蔑地一笑。3. Everybody laughs at my accent.大家都拿我的口音嘲笑。

titter (尤指窘迫时)干笑，傻笑，窃笑，哧哧地笑14. Mention sex therapy and most people will titter in embarrassment. 提及性治疗，大多数人会尴尬地偷笑。
